Burt's Pumpkin Farm

Today we made our annual visit up to Burt's to pick out our pumpkins.  We got lucky because today it finally felt like fall which made the trip that much better.  I asked Bennett if he wanted to pick out a pumpkin and he told me that he wanted to get a blue one.  I told him they didn't have blue ones so he asked for a black one.  I had to explain to him his only color option is really orange, they have white and grey ones at Burt's, but lets face it when it comes to pumpkins orange is really the one color you get!  He kept insisting on a black one and then I remembered they sell acorn squash that look like little pumpkins and are a really dark green color, so Bennett ended up with his "black" pumpkin.  He did end up picking out some good looking orange ones too.

Pop Pop with 2 of his grandsons...I love this picture!

On the hayride... Yes Walker has a pink blanket, I forgot one and it was cold on the hayride so sweet Ella loaned us hers.

Sweet cousins

After the pumpkin farm we all went out to lunch.  Today was such a fun day with our family and Walker's first visit of many to Burt's.  He was such a trooper and did great all day.  After lunch we got home and Bennett was so tired he asked to go down for his nap.  I fed Walker and put him down and he slept for over 3 1/2 hours.  They were both worn out from our big day!!!
